Sooner or later, every single person asks yourself, “What would I do if I could get time back?”. Unfortunately, our path is only forward and not backward, so it would be extremely difficult to change our destiny by going back to the past. It is very important to know, however, that any decision or mistake we have made ,has led to our present.
If I could really go back, maybe I would not change anything. But when I think about it … maybe I would go back to give myself a few tips about the life I’ve learned over the years:
Talent is nothing without hard work! – Most of what we consider to be innate talent is just a time-consuming experience.
It is important how you look! Very much! – Your outward appearance has a huge impact on people’s attitude towards you. It may not seem fair to you, but that’s the point – if you want respect, you have to show it, even in your dressing style. One of the best things you can do for yourself is to realize exactly what impression you want to show to others. If you look good, you will attract much more positive attitude.
Learn when NOT to be honest! – Honesty is an extremely valuable quality that can not be properly appreciated by everyone. Brutal sincerity will not help you if you want to build an empire. So before giving feedback to someone, consider whether he can “take over” the whole truth or not. Even if you want to help people by telling them the truth and only the truth, do not forget the social norms you have to observe.
Money can buy happiness as long as you know how to use them! – The dispute is as old as the world – whether with money we can buy happiness, is about to be resolved! Of course they can, BUT we need to be careful what we spend on them. If you “sponsor” wonderful experiences that give you the necessary experience, then go – spend! But if you buy unnecessary things, hoping to feel happy with your life, then you are on the wrong path.
Yes, unfortunately, there is no exact way to live our lives, but that’s why we should not regret anything. Everything happens for a purpose, and we can not change it. So… just live your life!
